We now have an announcement that strengthens our Facilities Management Software further and are pleased to let you know about the upcoming release of ‘10.’ This year will see the release of version 10 of all of our major product lines, including Planet and our Property Management Solutions, Qube and Horizon.
The significance of the number “10” is an expression of excellence, creativity and imagination; these are the traits that we are delivering in our Facilities Management Software.
While the industry has been experiencing a difficult period, with Planet FM Enterprise version 10 we have been working hard to develop solutions that will protect the futures of Facilities Management professionals and have been building the platform for further exciting developments in years to come.
Our most significant addition on version 10 is the introduction of Vision, a ground-breaking Executive Dashboard providing graphical business intelligence to companies using Planet FM Enterprise. Dashboards are one of the most powerful tools in the business users tool kit and are key to improving business visibility and informed decision making. An executive dashboard is a window into the database, presenting key Business Intelligence in a way that is easy to read and interpret.
Our dashboards make use of graphical elements such as colour coding, traffic lights, gauges and charts. The dashboards can be designed specifically for each customer in addition to the range of standard dashboards that will be available. Our users will be able to use these dashboards to model the past and be predictive about the future. They can also be used to provide benchmarking comparisons across your estate and manage “what-if” scenarios.
Planet FM Enterprise is also able to go beyond single dynamic dashboards, and create “mash-up” dashboards where two independent pieces of information (maps, data, CAD drawings) are combined to provide different perspectives, new insights and smarter decision making.
Qube has gone one stage further and is able to provide Vision to authorised internet users of Planet, thus spreading access beyond named users to senior executives and even clients.
Many of our customers appreciate the dynamic links that exist between our numerous modules. This year we have worked hard to further integrate the Condition Survey module with the rest of Planet FM Enterprise to improve the operational processes and provide more strategic decision making information in this area. We have designed a suite of mobile tools that now enables surveyors to carry out a survey and input directly into a mobile and upload to Planet. Planet will prompt as work becomes due and record work carried out within the survey. Our Vision dashboards can be used to combine planned and reactive work with condition survey based work to provide 5 year facilities financial projections and manage what-if scenarios.
We have also added an additional range of Energy Management tools within Planet 10 and have made a number of improvements to modernise the user interface.
