Planet User Conference | 14 May 2009
This year’s Planet User Conference was held at The Belfry hotel resort near Birmingham on Wednesday, 29th April. 80 customers of Planet’s facilities management software attended including users from the NHS, FM contractors, Education and Government sectors.
The day began with a welcome from Director Richard Fisher and continued with a presentation from the Technical Director, Mike Bennett on the recent developments that have been made in the Planet software as well as plans for the future. Before lunch, Martin Pickard, FM Guru gave a very informative presentation ‘Tough Times, Tough Decisions’ explaining the challenges faced by the FM sector as well as highlighting ways they can pull through this difficult economic period.
In the afternoon, break out sessions took place with groups for the NHS, FM Contractors and Commercial and Public Sector.
Richard Fisher, Director of Planet commented, “It was great to see so many customers at the conference. The day provided an opportunity for both Qube Global Software staff and customers to network in an environment away from the distractions of the workplace”.
Feedback on the day was very positive and 94% of the delegates said they would attend the event again next year.
