Data rationalisation and streamlining procedures most significant challenges for residential managing agents | 20 November 2013
Residential managing agents say that data rationalisation and process streamlining are their biggest challenges, according to a survey we conducted at the ARMA (Association of Residential Managing Agents) conference last month.
When asked about their most significant leasehold management challenges, conference attendees claimed rationalising their data into a single integrated system (71%) and streamlining their procedures and improving overall task management (71%) proved the biggest barriers for them to overcome. But these were far from the only difficulties identified. In addition, a high proportion of respondents consider enhancing their customers’ experience (67%), accurately budgeting for major works (63%), strong service charge management (54%) and effective reporting functionality (54%) as key challenges.
The survey formed part of our Qube solution’s long-standing support of the 2013 ARMA conference, which this year examined the impact of forthcoming ARMA-Q regulations. We exhibited throughout the day at the event and were on hand to answer any questions from attendees. We also made contributions to the WWF for each completed survey response we received, resulting in a £250 donation to the charity.
