Graduate Programme
Software Developers/IT Consultants
Qube Global Software has openings on its Graduate Programme to recruit trainee software developers/IT consultants in the City of London.
A growing company, Qube develops a suite of software applications for the Property and Facilities Management market. With a client list of blue-chip companies in the UK such as Tesco, Marks and Spencer, HSBC, National Trust and various government bodies, and many well-known names across the rest of the world, we use the latest technologies to produce and deliver software. But although programming is a key aspect of the roles available, we don't believe in just recruiting coders. We want to involve talented new recruits in all areas of our software and professional services from gathering client requirements, analysis and consultancy, through to programming and testing and ongoing support. Working in a team of lively, like-minded staff you will be responsible for every aspect of the product lifecycle, with our London office being the base for around 85 people (150 staff across the UK). Qube believes in challenging its employees to better themselves and is an excellent place for people who are ambitious, enthusiastic and keen to learn. Our career path can take you either along a fuller technical route, or into business analysis and consultancy.
We provide an in-depth technical training programme, arming you with the skills needed to operate in a fast paced environment using the latest toolkits. After an initial programme of self-paced, mentor-led training, staff are soon placed into the commercial environment so that the lessons learnt can be put into practice. An ongoing process of training and appraisals will ensure that you are always equipped with the knowledge necessary to work to the highest level. As Qube expands there will be opportunities to work with our clients within the UK and overseas where we operate, primarily Europe, the Middle East and SE Asia.
We are looking for recent graduates, or those who are still in their final year. Specific programming language experience is not necessary, although we always welcome applications from candidates who have previously worked with ASP.Net, C#, Oracle or SQL. You must have excellent communication skills and preferably a good degree result (or predicted result) in IT/Computer Science or similar, or an MSc course in an IT subject. Either way you must have a strong interest in programming, as this will form the basis of the start of your career with Qube, although your career path can focus on this, or move towards the analysis and consultancy route over time.
Benefits include a competitive salary package and other benefits, plus all the perks of working in an energetic organisation based in the City of London.
We’re recruiting for a number of positions, with start dates during this Spring and Summer according to your availability. You must be eligible to work permanently in the UK. All applications should be made by forwarding a covering letter and CV to hrmanagement@qubeglobal.com or to the following address:
