I joined Qube Global Software in 2006 as a member of the Customer Relationship Team for the Qube division. My role involved assisting with marketing activities, organisation of events and dealing with customer and prospective customer enquiries.
My background for the past 10 years has been business-to-business marketing and when the opportunity arose to move across to the Horizon division as a Marketing Executive I jumped at the chance. In this role I assisted the Marketing Manager with the day to day marketing of the Horizon product from the organisation of exhibition attendance and customer events to copywriting email campaigns, press releases and website content.
In April 2010 my hard work paid off and I was promoted to the position of Marketing Manager for the Horizon product across the EMEA region. I am now responsible for how the product is perceived in the marketplace as well as all the marketing activity supporting the individual product brand. I also work with the Head of Marketing on the strategic direction of the corporate brand and how the Company is marketed as a whole.
I can honestly say that working in the Marketing Department for Qube Global Software means never a dull moment, and the entire team works together really well.
The Company is really supportive when it comes to career development, sponsoring me in my completion of the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing and more recently the CIM Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. This has coincided with my professional advancement and has been extremely helpful as I’ve developed my skills in the daily practice of marketing the Horizon product and Qube Global Software.
